This week United States Congressman, Jerry McNerney, visited Mountain House High School’s robotics class with Governing Board President Matthew Balzarini, Principal Fobert, and Superintendent Nicholas. Congressman McNerney was very impressed with our students’ work as he witnessed a timed obstacle course competition amongst the robotic vehicles designed, built, and controlled by our students. They also toured the campus and viewed the progress of construction at the high school. We thank Congressman McNerney for visiting Mountain House High School and seeing first-hand the wonderful experiences our students receive.

Superintendent's Update:

Dear Lammersville Unified Families,

This week, Questa Elementary School hosted its annual back to school night. There was a great turn out and the pictures presented here display Cougar Pride.

Our District will be participating in activities related to the solar eclipse that will occur on Monday morning. Staff has put together learning activities for teachers to follow and safety precautions are being taken so that students can experience the eclipse in a safe manner. Please reference the email sent to you by your K-8 school site. All students, K-12, will receive communication about how to safely view the eclipse.

We will be sharing pictures from the eclipse activities within LUSD through social media with #LUSDEclipse2017.

Dr. Kirk Nicholas
